Lazy Crazy Hazy CCA Days

The staff at the University of Missouri Delta Center have gotten together to provide 4 days of hands-on CCA training during the week of September 12-15. Every day will be a bit different, and you can pick and choose which sessions you attend. Each day has someone different in charge and they will be running their "own show". The number of credit hours will vary from day to day, and CEU’s are pending. All sessions will start at 9:00 AM at the Delta Center. Sessions will adjourn at differing times, but are not designed to fill the entire day, as work is still busy this time of year.

Here is the schedule:

Tuesday, September12: Pest Management Day. Andy Kendig will be holding his herbicide symptom, weed ID, weed update class as in past years. There will be a morning session and an afternoon session. There is a $25.00 registration for this class, and lunch is included. kendigj@missouri.edu or 573-379-0499 if you have questions

Thursday, September 14: Crop Production Day. Andrea Phillips will be organizing cotton variety tours and will be calling on other crop specialists to offer crop production credits. phillipsa@missouri.edu or 573-379-5431 if you have questions) Lunch provided.

Friday, September 15: Soil Fertility Day. David Dunn will be highlighting soil fertility research and 2006 field research studies, and NRCS personnel will cover some soil and water aspects. dunnd@missouri.edu or 573-379-5431 if you have questions
