Research Assistantship (M.S.)


Soil Biology/Agroforestry

The Soil Science Program and the Center for Agroforestry at the University of Missouri in Columbia, Missouri (USA) seek candidates for a M.S. research assistantship (includes tuition and stipend) examining greenhouse gas production in the floodplain of Missouri under different natural and agricultural ecosystems. The research will investigate the effects of different flooding regimes on production of greenhouse gases and soil properties. The candidate selected is expected to start during the Fall 2009 or Spring 2010 semester.
