Lewis and Clark Initiative Funds Final LDC Building Project

Construction will soon begin in the Learning Discovery Center to finish the Messick Auditorium with the addition of two bi-fold room dividers, new flooring, a lowered tile ceiling and enhanced lighting more suitable for meetings and other events. Additional chairs and tables will be purchased to allow full use of the auditorium for larger groups. In addition, the parking lot will be expanded and landscaping will be completed around the outside of the building. Funding for this project was made possible through the support of State Senator Brad Lager, and State Representatives Jim Guest, Jim Whorton and Mike Thomson for the Lewis and Clark Initiative legislation.
