Grantsmanship Day at MU

Wednesday, April 28, 2004

The Office of Research, in collaboration with numerous faculty and staff experts, will present a full day of grantsmanship workshops. All sessions are free and open to all MU faculty, students and staff. However, space will be limited and registration is required. Register for the sessions you wish to attend. Note that you will need to register separately for each of the sessions you plan to attend.

Bob Lucas, PhD, of the Institute for Scholarly Productivity in California, will present Breaking Through the Barriers to Writing Proposals
This session will be designed to help participants break through writing blocks and accomplish more professional writing. Special application of the principles will be made to writing proposals for external support. Dr. Lucas is the author of over 90 papers, chapters, and articles on the subject of proposal writing and grants administration. He is nationally known for his tongue-in-cheek column, “Ask Ann Granters.”
