PRIME Fund
• Deadline:
Two weeks prior to the external grant deadline

Purpose:
To provide cost-match monies to promote external research proposals
with particular emphasis on infrastructure, equipment or innovative
instructional research.
• Eligibility:
All faculty (regular and non-regular).

Research Board
• Deadlines: Oct. 4, 2005; Feb. 13, 2006
•
Purpose:
To enhance the long-term quality and quantity of scholarship
throughout all of the University of Missouri campuses by supporting
research and creative activity of regular faculty.
• Eligibility:
Primary applicants must be regular (tenured or tenure-track)
faculty. Nonregular faculty may serve as co-applicants. Nonregular
faculty may apply as primary applicants if the Research Board
has approved them as eligible.

Research Council Grants
• Deadlines: Nov. 1, 2005; Feb. 1, 2006; April 3,
2006
•
Purpose:
To support research, scholarship and creative achievement.
Support categories include, but are not limited to personnel
costs, equipment, travel, and supplies.

Eligibility:
Academic appointment (regular and non-regular) at the level of
Assistant Professor and above (including emeritus faculty).

Research Leave
• Deadline: Oct. 17, 2005
• Purpose: To allow faculty to devote a specific
period of time (no more than 12 months) to intensive research,
free of their academic and/or administrative responsibilities.
• Eligibility: Tenured and tenure-track faculty,
and nonregular faculty under special circumstances

Summer Research Fellowship
• Deadline: Jan. 17, 2006
• Purpose: To provide summer salary for original,
scholarly research, and creative activities that will result in
publications, exhibitions, and other scholarly and creative accomplishments.
• Eligibility: Tenured and tenure-track faculty,
at the rank of Assistant Professor or above.

Center for Arts and Humanities Research Grants
• Deadline: Applications can be made at any time.
• Purpose: To provide financial support for
research, scholarship, and creative activity in the arts, humanities
and related disciplines.
• Eligibility: Any MU faculty, staff or student.
