Prescience: "CAFNR research approaching 'Top10'," by John Gardner, associate dean of research and extension: MU is among the fastest growing AAU research universities in the country. The 2004 report from the Office of Research also reveals that the College of Agriculture, Food and Natural Resources still leads in the amount of sponsored (or grant) research expenditures across campus, though we are deliberately seeking interdisciplinary research with our colleagues in the other colleges. Indeed, both the University as a whole and we in CAFNR are national players in research.

The MU Office of Research just released information on campus success in sponsored programs for FY 05. The news was good for campus and great for CAFNR. Campus-wide, externally sponsored project expenditures increased about 9.5 percent above those for FY 04. Once again, CAFNR led all Divisions with research expenditures of over $32.7M ...
